Manland Values Day
Last week children came into school dressed in the colours of our Manland Values. They looked very smart and colourful. They told me that it was fun to dress up colourfully and not wear school uniform for a day. Children explained that by celebrating the Values, it helped them to remember to think about their behaviour. Children could pick many instances where they had exemplified the Values during the half term.
In Stars class, children discussed the meaning of each Manland Value, and what this might look like in the classroom, such as having good manners and using please and thank you when asking for our school dinner. Year 4 thought about how displaying the Values would look when working together. Year 5 talked about the Values and how it would make life different if everyone adhered to them outside of school as well as inside.
